NFL Divisional Playoffs Saturday Live Blog
It's TebowTime! Though before we can get to TebowTime, we can watch a much more intriguing football game between the Saints and the 49ers! If you are looking to kill time until the games start, I wrote 1,600 words on the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles season. I don't post frequently anymore, but when I do, I make them count. I am the most interesting blogger in the world. Or something.
New Orleans Saints vs. San Francisco 49ers 4:30 (Fox - Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston, SA: Tony Siragusa)
Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots 8:00 (CBS - Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, SR: Steve Tasker)

NFL Divisional Playoffs Schedule
And you thought Tebow-mania was bad last week? Now just wait for the hype as this weekend, and then imagine what it will be if the Broncos somehow win. Likely the biggest blowout of the weekend aside, there are three other interesting games this weekend, including the great offense of the Saints versus the great defense of the 49ers. This should be a fun weekend of football and live-blogging.

Unless of course you are Nathan Brice, Captain Cocktacular, Big Dick Johnson, "someone with diarrhea", a "Journalist" who mocks us, a Jim who hates his tiny thingy, a Michael who hates his tiny thingy and wants us to make it bigger for him (the answer is still No, by the way), or any other random troll. Divisional Playoff Predictions
If time allows it, I'll have much more elaborate previews of the conference championship games, but seeing as I've been busy writing the memoir that you will soon see on here and packing up my shit to head back to school (likely) later today.
With that being said, here are my final predictions for each of the games this weekend. And if you're smart, you'll run to Vegas, bet a lot of money on the team that I DON'T pick and you will be a millionaire in no time.
New Orleans over Arizona: I would not be shocked if we have yet another new record for highest scoring playoff game ever. However, I must say that I like the Saints at home in this one. They will be ready to play and will finally hand Arizona a playoff loss to an NFC foe.
Indianapolis over Baltimore: Baltimore will need to play a perfect just to stay close in this one. With Flacco's injury, I don't see how they will be able to keep up with the steady stream of points that we all know Peyton Manning and the Colts offense can put up on you.
Dallas over Minnesota: As much as it pains me to say it, it's the team that is peaking at the end of the year that does the most post-season damage. This year, that team is Dallas. Favre and co. might give them a run for their money but it's Brett Favre in the playoffs post-2000. If you're a Vikings fan, that should scare you greatly.
New York Jets over San Diegio: San Diego may have the longest win streak in the NFL right now, but if there is one proven fact of life, it is that, Norv Turner is not a big game coach. The Jets' defense is the best in the league and their running game can be dominating. For all the talk about how important QBs are, it's teams like the Jets that are the teams to watch out for in the playoffs. Sanchez is not going to put on an aerial show, he does not need to. All Sanchez needs to do is not make the big mistake in the game, and that is something that Sanchez has proven in the past that he can do.

Your 2010 Divisional Playoffs Schedule
In order to compensate for the switch in this week's Wildcard playoff start times between Fox and CBS, they are reversed again for next Sunday's divisional round, with Fox getting the 1:00 game like they did last year and CBS getting the 4:30 game on Sunday, just like last year. So without further ado, here is your announce schedule for the divisional playoffs. (all times eastern)
Saturday, January 16
#4 Arizona Cardinals @ #1 New Orleans Saints 4:30 (Fox - Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa)
#6 Baltimore Ravens @ #1 Indianapolis Colts 8:15 (CBS - Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf)
Sunday, January 17
#3 Dallas Cowboys @ #2 Minnesota Vikings 1:00 (Fox - Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, SR: Pam Oliver and Chris Myers)
#5 New York Jets @ #2 San Diego Chargers 4:40 (CBS - Jim Nantz and Phil Simms)
I'll add the sideline reporters as they become available later in the week, but the biggest news with this schedule is thanks to the switch, Fox has lost its lead in for the series premiere of Human Target and the season premiere of 24. While they may have gotten away with it with this week with a game that turned into an instant classic in Green Bay-Arizona, Fox once again finds itself on the short end of the stick when it comes to this year's NFL playoff schedule.
