The Flyers got off to a slow start tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes, and before anyone could blink, the Canes had a 2-0 lead. Angry, Peter Laviolette called one of his patented timeouts. Only, Peter Laviolette did not just call timeout. During the timeout, he let his hands get the best of him and he ended up punching Ville Leino in the noggin. Seriously.
Ouch. The good news for Leino is he seems to have quite the ability to take a punch and shrug it off. Even better news is it has given us a hilarious .GIF that will surely be revisited over and over again.

Peter Laviolette Pwns Mike Missanelli
Mike Missanelli is a sports talk radio host for 97.5 The Fanatic. In today's Sound Off segment, he had on Flyers coach Peter Laviolette, who absolutely wasted no time in taking Missanelli to task for not paying the Flyers much attention thus far in the season. Also in this interview, Laviolette talks about practicing in Central Park, Andrej Meszaros, last night's Avery/Carle "fight", Boucher and Bobrovsky, and more. But seriously, the only reason this interview is getting posted here is because the first two minutes are absolutely hilarious.
