Phillies 7, Astros 4
Marlins 5, Braves 4
HELLZ YEAH, BITCHES!!!!
Possible live blog tomorrow of the potential NL East clincher. I have a paper due on Friday, hence the word possible. If I can get my ass working on it a bit despite my 5 clases, then I'll be satisfied enough to do the blog.
i hope the Phillies pull it off tomorrow, just to spare you ever actually needing the Nationals to help your team out.
ReplyDeleteAll the Phillies need to do is win 1 of their last 5 games and mercifully it's over. Hopefully that 1 will in some shape and form come tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh, we'll get the Marlins a few Christmas gifts if ya know what I mean!
ReplyDeleteRight you are, JC. They ended the Braves winning streak and they decreased our magic number.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marlins!
/MXC'd yet again!
ReplyDeleteAnd i would like to see them win tomorrow, meaning my trip to the park Thursday (10/1) be both meaningless, and to see Cliff Lee with the starting lineup of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs on the field.
At this point, I just want to be able to set our rotation for the playoffs.

ReplyDeleteweren't the 2007 Mets saying the same thing?
Was the number all the way down to 1 for the Mets that year with 5 games left? I honestly don't remember.
ReplyDeleteIIRC, i think it went to 2 on the last Thursday of the regular season
