I am hoping for a change. Please, CBS, please! I am utterly begging you. Switch KYW Philadelphia, PA or WYOU Scranton, PA from Jets-Saints to Ravens-Patriots. Please, please, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS MY SANITY, PLEASE SWITCH JUST ONE AND ONLY ONE OF THOSE AFFILIATES TO RAVENS-PATS!!!!!!!!!!!
For those of you that are confused, the following will explain all.......(all times eastern)
Map of who gets what CBS games
Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots 1:00 (CBS - Jim Nantz and Phil Simms)
Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 (CBS - Dick Enberg and Dan Fouts)
Oakland Raiders @ Houston Texans 1:00 (CBS - Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker)
Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns 1:00 (CBS - Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon)
New York Jets @ New Orleans Saints 4:05 (CBS - Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf)
Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins 4:05 (CBS - Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcots)
Map of who will get what early games on Fox
New York Giants @ Kansas City Chiefs 1:00 (Fox - Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa)
Seattle Seahawks @ Indianapolis Colts 1:00 (Fox - Dick Stockton and Charles Davis)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Washington Redskins 1:00 (Fox - Sam Rosen and Tim Ryan)
Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears 1:00 (Fox - Thom Brennaman and Brian Billick)
Map of who will get what late games on Fox
Dallas Cowboys @ Denver Broncos 4:15 (Fox - Joe Buck and Troy Aikman)
St. Louis Rams @ San Francisco 49ers 4:15 (Fox - Ron Pitts and John Lynch)
Sunday Night Football
San Diego Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers 8:20 (NBC - Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth)
Monday Night Football

Now do you see why I want the change? The only early game I have is the New York Giants and the Kansas City Quitters. Ugh. Just shoot me now. That has unentertaining blowout written all over it whereas Patriots and Ravens has the makings of being one of the games of the week.
Lastly, my deepest sympathies to you, Mookie. No one deserves this kind of punishment.....
FUCK YOU ;-) I get the Texans-Raiders game. The only redeeming quality about that game is GuJo.
ReplyDeleteAt least there's a chance you could have Seahawks-Colts on Fox (your option is Giants-Quitters; it's TBA). But the bottom line is is that you have another game to go to whereas as of now, I'm stuck with a Giants-Chiefs shitfest for 3 hours with no other alternatives.
ReplyDeletewell, it looks like DC is going with the Ravens over Jets/Saints. so that means i'm stuck with Dallas/Denver. and guys you owe me $ if you want me to watch any of that Bucs/Redskins shitfest. and the Raiders sold out v the Texans?
ReplyDelete5-0 Tigers in the 6th. and Verlander is pitching his way into Cy Young consideration.
never mind about the Raiders...
ReplyDeleteTwins have scored and its now 5-1
ReplyDeleteKubel with a sac fly and its 5-2 Tigers
ReplyDeletestill 5-2, Tigers coming up in the 6th
ReplyDeleteJoe Mauer comes to the plate as the tying run in the 8th
ReplyDeleteWild Pitch! now runners on 2nd & 3rd
ReplyDeleteJason Kubel with a gapper! its now 5-4 Tigers!
ReplyDeleteMichael Cuddyer grounds out and the Tigers hold the lead...
ReplyDeletesomeone on Detroit hit a homer as i was "enjoying" the highlights of the Orioles 12th straight loss
ReplyDeleteI don't know who it was, but I just now found a stream so I am watching right along. Thanks for the updates, by the way! ;-)
ReplyDelete@ kt1000: Granderson hit the latest Tigers HR.
ReplyDeleteedit: it was Granderson, # 30
ReplyDelete@JFein someone has to represent the AL
and the Braves are losing at the moment...
Polanco can't make the play...i think thats an error, but its a hit
ReplyDeleteby the way, the Twins announcers are excellent..they're fun to listen to
ReplyDeleteTolbert pops up for the 2nd out
ReplyDeleteTwins are down to their last out.
ReplyDeleteits over Grandersons head!! Punto has driven in Young and its 6-5!!
ReplyDeleteA DOUBLE OVER GRANDERSON'S HEAD!! TWINS ARE WITHIN 1!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! How big is that Granderson HR now?
Span pops up and the Tigers win game 2 6-5! they are 2 games up, with 5 to play. The Tigers had to have the W and they got it
ReplyDeletePop up! Tigers win!
ReplyDeleteGeez, Keith. Be thankful you may get a lot of screaming.
ReplyDelete@ JC: I highly doubt that the Raiders have any ability to cause GuJo to scream whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteValium, on the other hand, may be in full supply in the booth this Sunday in Houston. ;-)
With the developments of last Saturday in Lexington, I thought T-hom would've taken a sick day to be in Gainesville, just to be there with chicken soup.
ReplyDeleteby the way, the Twins announcers are excellent..they're fun to listen to
Bert Blyleven yes, his play-by-play partner Kermit the Frog, no. Fox played the cruel joke of pairing Dick Bremer & Rod Allen on a Saturday game. It was like a 9-inning version of Granderson missing that flyball.
RJBO, I can go one worse.
ReplyDeleteTry Gary Matthews on color in the middle innings of a Phillies game or Larry Andersen doing radio play-by-play. Not since Jim "Biff Barnes" Paschke in Milwaukee has there been such cringe inducing sportscasting.
And Mookie will suffer two weeks of Stockton and Mangina. We know how you feel, Carolina.
ReplyDelete@RJBO it could be that Blyleven & Bremer enjoyed the broadcast, as opposed to the games i listen to, which tend to have a certain death march quality to them after May 1.
ReplyDeleteChris Myers and Brian Billick for Cards/Seahawks in week 6.
ReplyDeleteCan I just rewind and relive the 2005 season (INCLUDING the Super Bowl loss)?
