One Of The Greatest Rants You Will Ever Hear

Meet DC Talkshow Radio host Chad Dukes. He is a lifelong Redskin fan who watched the game last night. He is not a happy talkshow radio host, and he's going to let you know it. Prepare your ears for one of the most epic 12 minutes in the history of sportstalk radio.

It's funny as all hell, but I feel bad. Maybe that is because everything he said about the Redskins is absolutely right.

Cliff Lee Chats With Mike Missanelli

I really do feel bad for Cliff Lee. And he is saying all of the right things and all, but as you will hear in his voice in this radio interview he did today with 975TheFanatic's Mike Missanelli (10,000 times better than Howard Eskin, by the way), you can hear the sadness in his voice.

It's a long interview so I don't blame you if you don't want to listen to the whole hting, but just listen to parts and all as you really can tell that Lee was shaken by the move and even though he does not (and will never) say it, you can tell he is less than thrilled about being a Mariner.

Click here to listen to the interview

What a shame as he is a good guy, but sometimes you just gotta move on with life. A business decision was made, the Phils have chosen Halladay over Lee, I am excited to see Doc Halladay, who like Lee, is a complete stand up guy and a class act all the way around, pitch for the Philadelphia Phillies.

FredEx Arrested

Why is it that every month or so I am doing some random post on former Eagle Freddie Mitchell, a legend in his own mind and his own mind alone? This time he failed to pay child support so he was locked up in jail. Poor First Down Freddie. CSN Philly's Leslie Gudel first broke this story through Twitter over the weekend and here is said tweet.

As if this story needed a kicker, he was scheduled to guest host a radio show this week in Philly. Well guess what, somehow, FredEx got out of jail and still ended up on the radio! Only Freddie Mitchell.

According to PhillyBlurbs, he was asked about the incident and he did have some comments on it.

Mitchell said on the radio that he didn't know about the warrant. On his non-payment of child support: "I don't condone not paying it, but they don't understand my situation, and it's still an ongoing trial." ..."When it comes to parenting and custody, they have all the rights. I'm sorry, but woman have the rights. If they want to do something on spite and not let you see your kids, they can do it. And that's what happened with me. I don't condone not paying child support, but I chose, 'Hey, I'm not going to pay.' "
Sometimes there is a part of me that wishes he never caught that 4th and 26 ball from McNabb. That guy is just flat out crazy and/or delusional. And yet, it's all oddly hilarous.

Stephen A. Smith Goes On The Mark Levin Show; Claims There's A Government Takeover And Racism Is A Good Thing

Oh, Stephen, we have missed your inane rants!

At least SAS managed to make some sense with the Mike Vick comments. Other than that, I'm pretty sure he now needs surgery to get Mark Levin's head out of his rectum (yeah, it was that far up there).

Oh, and I would like to hear those positive qualities to racism of which he speaks. Incredible idiocy.

Today In Douche Bag Radio Interviews: Taylor Swift Goes On The MJ In The Morning Show

My NFL picks for this week are coming up later tonight (and a big surprise along with it), but for now, enjoy this interview from the MJ In The Morning Show where MJ tortures Taylor Swift about the Kanye West incident after polite requests not to talk about it, followed by a hilariously pathetic sequence where he tries to play the victim and goes on an inane rant about the whole ordeal.

"Do you think Kanye West has a mental problem?"

And MJ wonders why Taylor Swift and her publicist hung up......

Hey Philadelphia, It's Party Time!

No, no Philadelphia team or person took a championship of note. But rather, it is Drunk Day with Preston & Steve of 93.3 WMMR! And while they do some real good work (Camp Out For Hunger), this video is just plain hilarious. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be completely hard when you see Lauren Harris topless, and you'll watch awkwardly as Eagles fullback (and Philly native) is asked the question in a game of Truth Or Dare of which Eagles has the biggest junk. Will he answer the question or will he take the dare? Just how hot is Lauren Harris? All your answers are in this fun-filled video below!

Good times! I wish I could have been there. Those lucky bastards got to see a hot chick topless in person. What I would give to have that same experience!!

Video Of Epicness: Skip Bayless PWN3D!

It's Mike Missanelli vs. Skip Bayless debating Philly fans on Philly Sports radio channel ESPN 950 and methinks this is a no-contest knock out.

My eternal gratitude to Missanelli for shutting that douchenozzle up and causing him to hang up, and as far as the reputation of Philly fans goes, well, there is nothing that I can say that Missanelli did not already say. He hit the nail on the head perfectly.

Alexander Ovechkin Is A WHAT?!?!?!?

Fast forward to the 33-second mark for perhaps the greatest call of a hat trick of all time.

That......was.......GREAT!!!!! And while I have honestly no idea how on earth he ever thought of calling a guy who got hat trick both The Cat In The Hat and The Mad Hatter, I am enjoying that call the more that I hear it. If Dickie V were running this blog, he would surely call that call, "Awesome with a Capital A, BABY!!!"

The Washington Nationals Are Quite Desparate For Fans

There have been a lot of weird and unusual pleas by owners to get fans to come to their games, but this one might just take the cake. Washington Nationals GM Stan Kasten went on the radio this morning and pleaded for fans to come to the Nationals opening day. Well, what's so weird about this, you ask? Well, it just so happens that this was a Philadelphia radio station. Yep, that's right. The Nats GM pleaded with Philadelphia fans to come to the Nationals home opener! From a publicized conversation of the Philadelphia Inquirer columnists.

Did you hear Nationals GM Stan Kasten on ESPN-AM (950) with Jody Mac the other day? (It's a radio station. Yes, right here in Philadelphia.) He was actually urging - "begging" might be a more appropriate verb - Phillies fans to go down to Washington and attend his team's games with the Phils next week. "We have an opening day here Monday," said Kasten, "and we'd love for all our Philly fans to come down." Is he mad? I know that execs whose teams don't draw well probably secretly relish those occasions when opposing fans fill their ballparks. But to go on the radio in one of those cities and shamelessly market the fact that you can't fill up your own stadium strikes me as bizarre and damn near traitorous.
And that's how you know that your team is in the crapper for the year!

In all seriousness, though, baseball is the ultimate sport of where if you're team is doing good, fans will flock to the games en masse and you'll pretty much have fans begging and pleading for standing room only "seats", but if you're team sucks, well, at least it will be rather simple looking for any and all homerun balls.
