Jon Stewart Has A Special Comment For Keith Olbermann (UPDATED)

I know I said on Twitter last night that I was not going to post the video, but rather just watch and laugh at my own pleasure, however I saw the video this morning, and am in the process of giving into my funny bone. I will spare you though another rant on my part, and just post this video of Jon Stewart doing a parody of Keith Olbermann from The Daily Show last night and be done with it.

Very well done, sir. Very well done.

UPDATE: Like I said, I won't make this about a rant, but I will point out intelligent conversations of the accuracy of Olbermann on his assertions. If you don't feel like reading a political article, I will let you in that the best and most generous scorecard out there for Olbermann has him at 50% accuracy, also known to us college students as a failing grade. The not so generous one has Olbermann correct on only one point out of 8.

Here are the links and you can judge for yourself which is right.

Olbermann scores 4 out of 8, 50%

Olbermann scores 1 out of 8, 12.5%

Having read through both scorecards, and thought about it myself, I will score Olbermann a whopping 1.5. Scott Brown was in-fact an ex-nude model and he gets half a point for "tea-bagger". Scott Brown did have a fundraiser for the Tea Party Movement, what is the intended allusion, however, taking things at exact face value, there is no proof that Scott Brown actually tea-bagged someone. In fact, he is straight, so the literal tea-bagging is highly unlikely. Regardless, the intended allusion is right, so half a point is scored to Olbermann, bringing my score for him up to 1.5 out of 8. Fail.

Jimmy Kimmel Would Like To Personally Give Jay Leno The Tongue Lashing Of A Lifetime

I am not sure what on earth Jay Leno was possibly thinking when he invited Jimmy Kimmel on his show after Kimmel spent a whole show earlier this week imitating Jay Leno with a wig and fake chin and all, but Leno did it. If there is one thing that Kimmel is good for, it is shock value. He is not afraid to give you a tongue-lashing right to your face and boy did he ever give it to Leno tonight. It's one thing to do what Conan and Dave Letterman, clearly still bitter after 18-years, have been doing and giving Jay lashings on monologues, but when Leno invited Kimmel on for an interview and Kimmel came up with this, it's a car crash that you gotta watch.

And that was before The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien where Conan came on and did arguably one of his best Tonight Show monologues ever! As soon as an embeddable video becomes available, I will put it right in this space. For now, you can click on this link here and you can scroll down and check out the Conan videos for yourself.

I really hope that Conan can get off of NBC as quick as possible and does make the move to Fox where he will become a star and NBC can rot in their own tears. And maybe then they will realize how much of a selfish douche bag Jay Leno (not to mention how unfunny he is) is when the storied Tonight Show can barely keep up with Letterman's Late Show and Conan's show on Fox. Keep in mind that it was Jay Leno who started this nonsense when in 2004 he said that he would retire in 2009, only to retract that and force NBC to move him to primetime as they already had a deal with Conan to take over The Tonight Show, thus forcing them to move Jay to primetime and thus dragging down NBC's abysmal primetime ratings even further down the toilet than they already were.

Conan >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jimmy Kimmel >>>>>>>> Letterman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Leno.

Fuck Leno.

Team Conan FTW!!!!

Countdown with JFein

I've teased this on Twitter and I teased this earlier today, and now, you will finally see it. This may be one of the greatest things that I have ever done in my sports blogging career, even though it does not have much to do with sports. It's my first podcast ever and I will use it to parody Keith Olbermann and Countdown! You guys don't know how long I've wanted to do this for.

Regardless, whether you are an Olbermann fan or not a fan, I am hopeful that you will find this funny. It is a parody that's not meant to be taken too seriously nor is it in any way shape or form, a representation of my personal political views. The fact that I bring up an issue in someway in this satirical piece of Keith Olbermann, does in no way representat my actual stance on the issue, whether I be for what I am saying or against what I am saying.

I rehearsed this a bunch and pretty much know it inside and out, but everytime I play back the Musto part, I can't help but crack up. Not that all the inside jokes and jabs and sarcastic ironies are not funny, but Musto gets me everytime. And yes, that whole 11 minutes and 30 seconds was my voice and only my voice.

And I don't know about you, but personally I think my Keith Olbermann doing Tad Baxter as Bill O'Reilly was spot on if you ask me.

Kevin From The Office Goes Mono e Bobblehead With The Phillie Phanatic

I've seen some pretty crazy trash talking videos from celebrities before a big game/series, although in terms of bizarreness, this one may just take the cake. Sorry, I could not find it on YouTube, but if you click on the MLB.com link below, it will direct you right to the video at MLB.com where you can see Brian Baumgartner take on the greatest mascot in all of sports, the Phillie Phanatic.

Yeah, and what exactly is Manny Ramirez other than the 2nd person ever (and the first by injection of women's fertility drugs) to voluntarily give themselves a mangina? (I think we all know who number one was). I'll just leave that one at that and claim victory on behalf of Phillies fans everywhere.

Oh, and unrelated, BUT IT'S OCTOBER 15 AND IT'S FUCKING SNOWING IN PENNSYLVANIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today In Awkward On-Air Apologies: Kanye West Apologizes To Taylor Swift On Leno

After being advertised and advertised and advertised over and over and over again by NBC, Jay Leno's primetime show finally premiered last night. And while I have not seen the ratings yet, I can tell you that there will most likely be a 150% decrease by the end of the week. I'm sure you all know what happened between Kanye West and Taylor Swift at the VMAs Sunday night, but if you live under a rock, you can view the video here (and Beyonce making it up to Taylor here). So Kanye West (for the first time in his life, mind you) decided to have an ounce of class an publically apologize to Taylor Swift on the Jay Leno show and for a few short moments, the show ceased to be the Jay Leno Show and turned into an impromtu edition of Dr. Phil.

Awkward. If this is how the Jay Leno Show is going to be from here on out, then I'm pretty sure it will end up in the trash quicker than Pirate Master did for CBS. I don'k know if Kanye was taken aback by the question about his mother (why a grown man would seriously ask another grown man about how his mother what his mother would think of her son's rude actions is still beyond me) or what, but that was one incredibly awkward and unnerving moment of television.
