Donovan McNabb And Terrell Owens Will Be On The Same Team Again

No, the Eagles have not traded McNabb yet. No, the Eagles have not acquired T.O. Instead they will be on the same basketball team on a special episode of Spike TV's Pros vs. Joes! Via CSN Philly.

McNabb and Owens are teaming up on a basketball court instead of a football field in the new season of Spike TV's "Pros vs. Joes." The episode features NFL players that played college basketball against former NBA stars.

McNabb (Syracuse), Owens (Tennessee-Chattanooga) and Antonio Gates (Kent St.) will face Hakeem Olajuwon, Kenny Smith and Rick Fox.
Frankly, the bigger surprise to me when I read this article was that Pros Vs. Joes was still on TV. Regardless, as much as I have made an effort to not watch a show as pointless as Pros Vs. Joes, this little episode might actually be worth checking out just to see McNabb and T.O. try to co-exist, even if it is just on the same basketball court, and not the football field.

They say they have reconciled and patched up their differences, but have they really? Watch Pros Vs. Joes to find out! On second thought, maybe this won't be as exciting as I first thought....

Oh Noes! The Heroes Voted Out Stephenie!

Here is the end of last night's episode and the subsequent downfall of Kyle Kendrick's fiancee Philadelphia's favorite Survivor, Stephenie LaGrossa. Get your hankies ready.

I can't make it through that video with crying and bawling my eyes out. Really. I just can't. Stephenie!!! NO! We'll miss you.

Moving on, though, on the plus side of things, Kyle Kendrick has a new idol. I like Kyle Kendrick and unless the Phillies bring in a free agent, I would like to see him get back in the starting rotation and try to prove himself. He's really re-dedicated himself over this off-season and while his past results have never been something to cheer and write home about, I think if given one more chance, Kendrick may just show us a little thing or 2 that Doc taught him.

Philadelphia Sports Fans Add Another To Their Bad Reputation

And you thought it was bad when they booed Santa Claus.

This morning at Wing Bowl XVIII, they took it too far. Now the Wing Bowl, for those belligerently uninformed on Philadelphia customs, is a yearly wing-eating contest every year before the Super Bowl, consisting debauchery inside the Wachovia Center on a Friday morning equitable to 10 times worse than anything you ever got at The Vet's 700 Level. That being said, there are certain lines of decent morality that should not be crossed. They were crossed today when Philly fans committed what will no doubt go down as their worst act of douchebaggery yet: They booed Snooki.

Satire aside, THAT. WAS. AWESOME! How often do you get to see a stuck-up "guidette" (MTV's word, not mine) walk into an arena and get booed out of the building like that. Now I watch more reality TV more than anything sports fan on the face of this earth (Survivor, Amazing Race, and Hell's Kitchen are my favorites) but even I can tell you that Jersey Shore is crap. Actually, I have never been so proud of Philly fans in my life. If there is one thing we do, we recognize crap for what it truly is, crap.

However, Snooki did not go quietly into the night. She was interviewed by Fox29 on the booing and she had a little salute to everyone.

I saw that for the first time and nearly pissed my pants from laughing so hard. It does not get much better or funnier than that.

As evidenced by the booing, I can confidently state that Philadelphia feels the exact same way about you, Snooki.

Philly has no love for Snooki
(PerezHilton.com)
Snooki doesn't like to get booed (Seriously? OMG! WTF?)

World Fucking Champion Coach And Daughter To Run The Amazing Race

I mentioned a couple weeks ago how the Phillies are concidentally intertwined with the CBS reality series Survivor with Cole Hamels being husband to Heidi Strobel and Kyle Kendrick's future marriage with Stephenie LaGrossa, whose 3rd stint on the show will be premiering Thursday, February 11. 3 days after that on Sunday, February 14, The Amazing Race will premiere and the Phillies will once again establish a connection with CBS reality television. What's this connection, you ask? The 3rd base coach of the 2008 Philadelphia Phillies, Steve Smith, will be running the race along with Allie, his smoking hot daughter.

Oh sure, he may have been fired after the 2008 season and the highlight of his Phillies career was Geoff Jenkins running through his stop sign in Game 5 Version 2.0, but who cares, he got a ring with the Phillies and he's on a reality show with a hot daughter! Not only is he a former Phillie, but he also seems like a good guy from this 3 minute bio and how can you not like Allie. Sweet good looking 23-year old girl who seems to have a good head on her shoulders. Without a doubt, they are the team that I am going to be rooting for. I mean, who else is their to possibly root for, Jordan and Jeff of Big Brother? Miss Teen South Carolina who answered a question at Miss Teen USA 2007 and gave YouTube one of it's all time greatest moments? In the least sarcastic way possible, how many people actually knew that her name is Catie Upton? I certainly didn't. Everywhere she goes, she's just Miss Teen South Carolina...

But I digress...I'll be sure to document the travels of Steve and Allie here and if they were to win the race, you can bet your bottom dollar you will be seeing the video on here.

Eddie George Is Not Much Of A Fan Of The Wildlife In The Brazilian Highlands

Seeing as I'm probably the only one here that watches Survivor, I'm going to have to set this up for you. Eddie George's wife, Taj, is currently a contestant on Survivor. Last night's episode was the "loved ones" episode, where a family member or friend of the survivors come and visit them for a day or so. And seeing as Taj is still in the game, CBS flew down her husband, former NFL running back and Ohio State star, Eddie George. And as seen in this bonus scene from CBS.com, Eddie George does not exactly embrace the wildlife in the Tocantins.

Too funny! Especially seeing as you'd think Eddie George is this big, bad football player who would not be scared of wildlife. And while you would not be able to tell it by watching him attempt to analyze college football on the BCS pre-game shows, Eddie George is still pretty well build and he looks like that he could get back on the football field and play any day now.
