Detroit is looking a lot better tonight.
ReplyDeleteHair has given Cleveland their first lead. 6:20 left in the 2nd quarter.
ReplyDeleteIt's time to turn my attention to the Sixers...
ReplyDeleteSheed with a technical already.
ReplyDeleteI hate Bono and U2.
ReplyDeleteCavs look like they are trying to pull away early, currently up 40-31 on Detroit after struggling early.
ReplyDeleteMel Kiper is projecting the Niners to take Jeremy Maclin. You like that move, 49er16?
ReplyDeletewhat's with all the empty seats in Philly?
ReplyDeleteI like Maclin a lot more than Harvin. Either way, the Niners need a WR.
ReplyDeleteThe Sixers have always had problems selling tickets and selling out the Wachovia Center. Of the 4 major sports teams in Philly, fans definitley care about the Sixers the least. The Flyers are so much more popular and sell tickets much more easier than the Sixers.
ReplyDeleteSixers = Forgotten team of Philly
ReplyDeleteAlso isn't weird how some teams are more popular in one city than others. The Giants have problems selling their tickets, but the Niners always have sellouts even if the team is horrible.
44-37 Cleveland at half.
ReplyDeleteRams most likely to pick Jason Smith with the 2nd pick.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about Kiper because I'm not an ESPN Insider, but everyone at nfl.com appears to think that the Eagles will draft Knowshon Moreno. He's a good player, but I don't know how he will fit in to the the Eagles, seeing as he is another Westbrook-type running back.
ReplyDeleteSixers lead 17-15 with 4 to go in the 1st.
ReplyDeleteI'll most likely be a little late arriving to JC's draft live blog tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI will be in-and-out all afternoon tomorrow, so I don't know how much of JC's blog I will be able to attend.
ReplyDeleteBTW, what's with the lack of day games in baseball today?
Sixers lead 27-21 after 1.
ReplyDeleteIt beats me. I guess it's just the way the schedule turned out.
ReplyDeleteSixers up by 9, 34-25.
ReplyDelete60-49 Sixers over the Magic at the half!
ReplyDeleteSixers are dominating the Magic. I must admit, I am surprised and impressed. I did not think that they had it in them to go toe-to-toe with Dwight Howard and co. especially after not beating them in 3 regular season games. 74-57 Sixers lead in the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteMagic are back wtihin 5. 76-71.
ReplyDeleteHere you go.....shifting to baseball for a bit.
ReplyDeletePhillies were trailing 3-0 in the top of the ninth with Lindstrom on the mound for Florida. Howard started the inning by grounding out. Werth then doubled. Ibanez walked. Stairs hit a groundball single scoring Werth. Lou Marson walked loading the bases. Eric Bruntlett struck out. Rollins drew a bases loaded walk. And then Victorino hit a GRAND SLAM! Utley followed that up with a solo shot and what was 3-0 Florida since the bottom of the first is now 7-3 Philadelphia. Howard followed that up with a double and now Werth is back up to bat as I type.
Back to the other b-ball, the Magic have pulled within 3, 80-77 Sixers at the end of 3. And to think that the Sixers led by 17 at one point. Early double digit leads have pretty much been a kiss of death in this series...
Phils win 7-3 and the once redhot Marlins are now finding themselves in a bit of a funk.
ReplyDeleteThe Giants are up 1-0 against Arizona. And with Tim Lincecum pitching and Arizona's offense, that could be the score for the rest of the game.
ReplyDelete/How pathetic is that!
Game tied at 86 with 5:43 to go!
ReplyDelete"Andre Iguodala gets the crowd emotionally back into the game, especially the guy in the orange jacket." - Kevin Calabro as the crowd panned to some old guy in an orange jacket doing an awkward dance.
ReplyDeleteWell, the Phillies were in a similar situation. The Fish got 3 in the 1st and that was all the scoring until the top of the 9th when the Phils exploded on Matt Lindstrom.
ReplyDeleteThe Sixers are now up 92-86. Make that 92-88 as Howard jams it home.
ReplyDeleteThis weather out here has been weird all week. Earlier this week it was in the mid-90's. Right now it's raining and cold. I am starting to think I live in Seattle.
ReplyDelete/BTW, Orlando is only down by 1 with 1:40 left.
Lewis for 3 and the Magic are within 1 with 1:23 to go!
ReplyDelete1 to go and the Sixers are up by 3 with the ball!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was chilly and rainy the beginning of the week but today was sunny and in the 70s and this weekend both days are supposed to be sunny and in the mid-80s, giving us our warmest weather of the year thus far (beating out last Saturday). I guess I'm beginning to think that I live in Sacramento. ;-)
ReplyDelete"Muscle held"-Kevin Calabro
ReplyDeleteWhat?
Philly by 2 with the ball with 31 seconds to go.
ReplyDeleteMagic down by 2 with 31.0 left.
ReplyDelete/Dwight Howard was Shaq'd
If only that guy was shooting the bird between Calabro and Legler...
ReplyDeleteThe Sixers can't score on multiple attempts! Rebound Orlando with 7.4 to go! Timeout Magic.
ReplyDeleteAndre Miller = No Onions
ReplyDeletePhilly still up by two by Magic has the ball with 7 seconds left.
Smartest thing Philly could do. Foul Howard, he can't hit both FT's.
ReplyDeleteTHE MAGIC FIND HOWARD OPEN IN THE PAINT AND HE'S FOULED WITH 6.9 TO GO!!!
ReplyDeleteNot the worst case scenario at all for the Sixers...
Howard makes the first....
ReplyDeleteNEVERMIND.... TIED GAME WITH 6.9 LEFT AND PHILLY BALL.
ReplyDeleteAND THE SECOND! TIED AT 94!
ReplyDeleteTimeout Sixers.
ONIONS AND PHILLY WINS!
ReplyDeleteHOWARD TRIED FOR THE STEAL ON THADEAUS YOUNG, BUT YOUNG WAS ABLE TO GET THE LAY-UP.
THADDEUS YOUNG GETS THE BALL IN THE MIDDLE!!! HE LOSES IT ON THE GROUND!!! PICKS IT BACK UP AND LAYS IT IN!!!!!! 2 SECONDS TO GO AND THE SIXERS ARE UP BY 2!!!! LAST CHANCE HEAVE FOR THE MAGIC......OFF THE BACKBOARD!!!!! NO GOOD!!!!! SIXERS WIN 96-94!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Night Now! I am going out for a drink. See you tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Sixers are now up 2 games to 1 on the Orlando Magic!
ReplyDeleteGame 4 is on Sunday at 6:30.
See you tomorrow! Big day coming up! Flyers and the draft! Should be a heck of a day.
