The Sharks have pissed me off, so I am avoiding hockey tonight.
ReplyDeleteBut on the bright side, surely we have another Habs blowout on tonight. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm watching the Capitals-Rangers came from the TSN feed.
ReplyDeleteSEMIN SCORES!!!! THEY HAD CHANCE AFTER CHANCE AFTER CHANCE AND THEY WERE EITHER MISSING THE NET OR LUNDQVIST WAS STOPPING THEM BUT THAT ONE FOUND IT'S WAY IN!! 1-0 CAPS!
It's the playoff excitement that makes me wonder why I have not been watching hockey more this year. I've been thoroughly enjoying these playoffs and I have no idea what I am going to do come draft weekend, this weekend...
This is a television quality stream that I have found as well for the Caps-Rangers game.
ReplyDeleteMontreal has scored! HIGGINS!
ReplyDeleteSEMIN NOTCHES ANOTHER ONE HOME!!! 2-0 CAPITALS AFTER THE RANGERS NEARLY TIED IT AT 1!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pass by Ovechkin as well on that one.
"You have to be responsible for your stick." - Chicken Parm
ReplyDeleteMONTREAL MAKES IT TWO!!!! BUT THE REF WAIVES IT OFF!!! THE WHISTLE MAY HAVE GONE BEFORE THE PUCK WENT IN!!
ReplyDeleteI guess they ruled that the whistle did blow before the puck went in...
ReplyDeleteSSR, are you still publishing the BOTL championship tonight?
ReplyDelete2-0 Caps after 1.
ReplyDeleteBoston ties it at 1-1!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on it now, JFein. I have the results already.
ReplyDeleteKOMISAREK SCORES AND THE BRUINS HAVE TIED IT AT 1!!!
ReplyDeleteTough break for the Habs.
THORTON GIVES BOSTON THE LEAD!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWEBER SCORES OFF OF THE FACEOFF!!!
ReplyDelete2-2 game!
ReplyDelete"Some of the holes look worse, even though they are all the same score." - Chicken Parm making little sense.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile it seems like I have been missing a lot of action in the Habs-Bruins game. That last Habs goal which I just saw on the TSN SC In Game, went right between the wickets! Funny to watch.
AND BROOKS LEICH SCORES FOR THE CAPITALS!!! 3-0!!
Time to switch games....
I just did a Bob Cole YouTube search, and I'm pretty sure I just discovered the greatest double entendre goal call in the history of hockey.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvhQMiixF34
That ruined what was forever etched in my mind as a classic game...
"And it hit the cross bar. And it hit the goal post. And the referee is standing there........And he says it did not go over the line." - Bob "Old King" Cole.
ReplyDeleteI'm not exaggerating with all of the "and"s. And it took forever for him to make that long-winded call as well.
RYDER SCORES!!!! 3-2 BOSTON!!!!
"That should do it for this power play...and this second period." - Bob Cole. There were still 25 seconds remaining on the power play. But he was right about the end of the period!
ReplyDeleteMontreal has only had one shot on goal this period and it's already half way through. Not exactly a good formula to comeback from being 1 down to the top team in the conference...
ReplyDeleteCaps are still winning 3-0 with 3:52 to go in the game.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile Boston still leads 3-2 with under 5 to go.
KOBASEW GETS AN EMPTY NETTER FOR THE BRUINS!! THAT'S 4-2 AND THAT'S A 3-0 SERIES LEAD FOR BOSTON!
ReplyDeleteBOTL is up!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Chicago is already up 1-0! Damn, that was quick and I missed it!
ReplyDeleteJesus Shuttlesworth just won the game for Boston with a 3-pointer. The series is tied between Boston and Chicago.
ReplyDeleteNYSTROM SCORES!!! AND THE FLAMES HAVE TIED THE GAME AT 1!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll be back in a bit. I have some work that I have to get done and I am beginning to get tired.
ReplyDeleteGood Night JFein. I also have a big day tomorrow, so I have to hit the hay early.
ReplyDeleteGood night to all!
I'm back! Flames lead it 2-1 at the start of the 3rd period.
ReplyDeleteBUT AS SOON AS I SAY THAT, MOSS SCORES FOR THE FLAMES!!! 3-1 CALGARY LEADS IN THE THIRD!!
Rene Bourque was the Flame who scored in the 2nd to make it then 2-1. Of course, the Moss goal has it 3-1 Calgary.
ReplyDeleteSCORE! DAVID MOSS AGAIN! 4-1 CALGARY!
ReplyDelete14:22 to go in this game and I'm pretty sure that gaining an early lead is a kiss of death in this series....
Calgary is beginning to run away with this one. A near chance short-handed and this one is getting ugly for the Blackhawks. They need Kane back ASAP.
ReplyDeleteIt appears Chicago has gotten one back (I missed what happened). The Flames still lead though, 4-2 with under 3 minutes to play in this one.
ReplyDeleteFIGHT!
ReplyDeleteThis series is going to get ugly right infront of Pierre McGuire funny enough
ReplyDeleteMore fighting!
ReplyDeleteGame 4 will be intense...Pierre almost got decked in the process
ReplyDelete"You almost got it too." - Chris Cuthbert to Pierre McGuire
ReplyDelete"That's okay. That's what I'm down here for." - Pierre McGuire
This has been a very fun series to watch thus far. I'm somewhat disappointed that I missed half of this game but what has to get done has to get done.
ReplyDeleteThis one is over and the Flames win 4-2. But man, they nearly went at it again at the buzzer! Game 4 should be very, very fun after what just happened here.
ReplyDeleteGame was intense & really rough. Game 4 will be even worst. Chris & Pierre hit it on the nose with this series that it's going to probably be home team holds serve.
ReplyDeleteThat very well could be with this series. More so than most series, I can see this one going 7.
