Tonight's game....(yeah, early endings to series have hurt today's original schedule of 3 games quite greatly.)..
Game 5: New York @ Washington 7:00 PM (Versus - John Forslund and Darren Eliot, SR: Bob Harwood) (TSN - Gord Miller and Ray Ferraro) (RDS)
Enjoy the game and leave comments!
The Rangers and John Tortorella have benched Avery. Serves that douche bag right.
ReplyDeleteput my name in blue please.

ReplyDeleteThe Rangers take an undisciplined penalty 1 minute and 10 seconds in. And to think that of all people it's Scott Gomez in the box for a dumb one.
ReplyDeleteMATT BRADLEY ON A SHORT-HANDED BREAKAWAY!!!......SC0RES!!!!!!!! 1-0 CAPITALS!!
ReplyDeleteWow, 1 goal in the last 41 regular games and not 1 playoff goal in his career in 21 games. And Matt Bradley has gotten the first one here in the Verizon Center.
And I am loving Gord Miller on PbP on TSN. He's quickly becoming one of my favorites to listen to during these Stanley Cup Playoffs.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow!!! It took literally 10 seconds for the refs to notice that the New York Rangers had too many men on the ice.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what's sadder, that it took the refs 10 seconds to notice that or that no one on the Rangers, including John Tortorella, noticed that.
"They have been let down a time or two in Washington over the years." - Gord Miller on the fact that the crowd has that nervous and uneasy feeling about it even though the Caps are up 1-0 on the power play. The video below may explain why....

+1 to you, Gord Miller
SCORE!!!!! MATT BRADLEY AGAIN!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! A SOFTIE FROM LUNDQVIST AND ONE OF THE LEAST PRODUCTIVE SCORING PLAYERS FOR WASHINGTON HAS YET ANOTHER GOAL!
"His stick exploded." - Gord Miller
ReplyDeleteNBC is cheering for a rematch on Sunday. That is unless you live in St. Louis...
ReplyDeleteNBC won't be airing a replacement game if the Rangers come back and win. Instead they'll just air an "adventure show and a poker tournament", according to Puck The Media. It was NBC's goal to have just at least one game this weekend and they got that when the Flyers beat the Penguins yesterday.
ReplyDelete3-0 CAPITALS!!! SEMIN!
ReplyDeleteThe little ball of hate should be on the Versus call.
ReplyDeleteAnd this one's getting ugly! Ovechkin scores and it's 4-0 Capitals! This is how I imagined most of the games in this series going....
ReplyDeleteAnd that's the end of 2 periods from the Verizon Center. 4-0 Caps.
Lundqvist has been puleed for Valiquette.
ReplyDeleteThe Whatifsports NHL rosters for this year are out (but not the NBA).
ReplyDeleteSo here is the result of game 6 between the Pens and Flyers!

That better not actually happen! ;-)
ReplyDeleteCaps win it 4-0 and we will have hockey on Sunday on NBC.
