ReplyDeleteWhat the fans at Sportsline fail to reconize is the ballpark that Sandoval plays at. Look at the Phillies this weekend. They looked pretty ordinary at AT&T Park.
ReplyDeleteWerth would be very ordinary in that ballpark, much like he was at Dodger Stadium.
It looked that way until Barry Zito hit a broken bat single in the bottom of the 5th inning. That and the Werth pick-off changed everything in that game.

ReplyDeleteoh, i agree with you Keith, park factors are important in determining player performance. i just liked the 'Tacobell Sandoval' reference.
