BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Okay, maybe not really. Here's the good and the bad real quick.
The good: Tom Jackson called him the best defensive player in the draft. That's high praise from a man who knows what he is talking about. Graham is a hybrid type player and can play either DE or OLB. Look for the Eagles to use him opposite Trent Cole.
The bad: The Eagles traded up for this pick and in doing so,ignored a glaring need in their secondary. They need a CB and they need a safety, and once they traded up, they had Earl Thomas and/or Kyle Wilson at their fingertips and they blew it. They had their guys and instead they took Graham. The opposite of this is a deadly pass rush can help the secondary out a bit, but it starts to become a bit of a problem when you don't have a physical body back there. And now the Cowboys drafted Dez Bryant. Yeah we're screwed this year.
The f'ing Eagles f'ed up this pic soooooooooo bad it's not funny. They could have stayed where they were and not traded away two thirs rounders and gotten him OR they SHOULD have gotten Earl "Next Dawkins" Thomas. Instead they are smarter than every other team in the NFL and trade up for...wait for it ( and this was THE FIRST comment out of any of the ESPM panel )..."a characor guy, plays saxaphone, is in a band", I mean NO ONE was more suprised that they took Graham than Graham...I think he was f'ing brusing his teeth when they called, you know, not thinkin' he was going to be on TV until tomorrow. Thanks HOWIE, JOE and you fucking HOT POCKET eatin' piece of carp AND...you fucked up again.
ReplyDeleteoh ya, and he's a fucking Chris Gocong twin as well, who we just traded away ( sorry about the spelling...very drunk and even more pissed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
ReplyDelete@ Anon: Most mocks that I've seen had Graham going in the Top 15 and Sal Paolantonio (take this for what it's worth) reported that the Giants would have taken him at 15. Now they are saddled with Pierre-Paul who I see as a complete bust. LOL Giants.
ReplyDeleteI think this kid is legit and the Eagles now have one of the more feared pass rushes in the league. Tapp can be a 3rd DE or even a strong side linebacker, so he won't be useless. That being said, Eagles need to get the tools needed to improve their secondary and offensive line tomorrow.
