NFL Week 17 Live Blog

Sorry for the lateness, I was under the impression that JC was hosting this week, although it appears as if he is not around.

Come and comment as you wish, but don't be a troll (I'm looking at you people who talk about their unmentionables, Nathan Brice, and guy with no life who likes to comment about how we have no lives for "doing play by play" of the games).

  1. Redskins head coach Jim Zorn is officially fired as of 6 AM ET. WJFK Radio, WRC-TV, WUSA-TV, and CSN D.C. all reporting.

Supposedly, the ax came down at 3 AM. Deadskins media debacle...ur...press conference at 12:30.

  2. Redskins head coach is unoffficially fired as of 7:38 AM ET. According to Brett Haber os WUSA-9, Zorn was escorted out by "security people" and the camera guy was told to stop shooting. According to ESPN 980 shills I'm mean reporters, Zorn was escorted out by his assistants.

HIS USELESS ASS WAS AND/OR IS STILL FIRED!!!!! They can't even fire a guy in the proper manner.

  3. One last post as I hijack the comments section, ESPN 980 was waiting for confirmation from their dingbat parrot for Dan Snyder and occasional radio PxP guy Larry Michael.

All that station cares about is their ratings not news.

Okay, I'm done hijacking this thread.

  4. Wow.

That's kind of pathetic and hilarious that when the Redskins actually do something right they mess up.

  5. @ Al: Feel good that your Deadskins are not alone today in firing Zorn. According to Jay Glazer, the Bills have canned their entire coaching staff!

  6. The Deadskins are basically going to fire everybody, Bruce Allen said the new coach (likely Shanahan) will decide on the assistants.

If Snyder lets Allen and Shanahan do their job and there's a clear plan to rebuild, I'm happy.

If not, same old decade-long garbage.
