What Do Lee Corso And Ryan Seacrest Have In Common?

They both wanted someone who is blind to touch their hand!

No, seriously. Remember last year when Ryan Seacrest tried to high five a blind American Idol contestant who made it to Hollywood? Well Lee Corso tried to one-up that bit of idiocy.

If you have been following college football at all this year, then I'm you know the inspirational story of Jake Olson, the blind 12-year old USC fan that has gained internet notoriety (and rightfully so) for his story. Jake was the guest picker on New Year's Day for the remaining college bowl games. After Jake gave very intelligent picks that can be considered equal to what you will find in most professional analysts, Lee Corso reached out to shake his hand forgetting the one thing that made him so famous and inspirational: he was blind!

Awkward!

Chris Fowler did a good job of saving face there and not leaving Lee Corso totally hanging, but Lee's cluelessness, ignorance, and/or forgetfulness just cracked me up.

Let's see, Lee Corso tries to shake the hand of a blind kid, Big 10 football finally silenced their critics, and Fox Sports introduced Tebow cam to us all during the Sugar Bowl. 2010 is going to be an interesting year, isn't it?
