I said it before and I'll say it again, Chris Myers is an idiot. Listen to the question he asks Ricky Stanzi that sort of comes out of nowhere after the Iowa Hawkeyes won last night's Orange Bowl and then listen to the admittedly great answer given by Ricky Stanzi.
I'm not sure what Myers was talking about with Iowa representing all of America. I mean, I don't feel that the University of Iowa represents me in any way shape or form, but regardless, that's something that I'll put on Chris Myers and not Ricky Stanzi who perhaps gave the only good possible answer to that horrible question by Myers.

This may seem stalkerish and what not, but I watch the show Lie To Me and in that show it sort of teaches you how to see various microexpressions in order to determine if people are lying or not. This is interesting and really says a lot, about how others perceive Chris Myers.
ReplyDeleteAfter Chris Myers asked his stupid question that maybe Stanzi is representing not just a university, but an entire group of Americans, Stanzi says "well, of course" and then shrugs his shoulder. Translation: He's lying. In other words, he and I share an opinion on how horrible the question is and he does not feel that he represents an "entire group of Americans out there".
That being said, the good news is that afterward when he talks about how great the country is and that USA is #1, I see no signs that Stanzi is lying and he really is proud to be an American and he does love this country, just not Chris Myers' questions. Then again, who does love Chris Myers?
After all, he spoiled the surprise to Ian Johnson's wife just before Johnson proposed to her at the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.
@JFein So, I see the only way you didn't post a Dick Stockton screwup posted was if Myers said something stupid that trumped it. I'm joking.

And you needed to watch Lie to Me to really understand the signs if a person is lying. Everyone watching knew Stanzi was lying to save that embarrassment of an interview.
