The Beninati/Reaugh Comedy Tour shifts to Montreal for a couple showings. How many times will Beninati be confused by/over-explain one of Razor's expressions? O/U is currently set at 5. Take your bets!
Philadelphia @ Montreal 7:00 (Versus - Joe Beninati and Daryl Reaugh, SR: Billy Jaffe) (CBC - Bob Cole and Garry Galley, ItG: Glenn Healy, SR: Elliotte Friedman)
"Nice of you to pop in on us." - Joe Beininati
ReplyDeleteNice intro, Joe.
Cycling did end on time. Lance Armstrong won't be typing angry tweets now. Yay!
ReplyDeleteBob Cole doesn't sound as confused as he used to....apparently it's because he admitted he had a medication problem which affected his vision for a few years. Now he's better.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. The fans are singing O Canada as it's a symphony playing the anthems.
ReplyDeleteDelay of game on Montreal.
ReplyDeleteUhh...goodness.
And Philly nearly allowed a 2 on 1 seconds in.
ReplyDeleteDid Beninati really just say "Shut Yo Mouth?"
ReplyDeleteO.M.G.
Beninati channeling his inner Issac Hayes.
ReplyDeleteFUUUUUCCCCCCCK!
ReplyDeleteCAMMALLERI SCORES! 1-0 MONTREAL!
ReplyDeleteWell there goes the shutout streak.
ReplyDeleteCammalleri scores. 1-0 Habs.
Screw it...
ReplyDeleteBob Cole > Beninati
Cole is not as senile as in year's past.
There is no one quite like Beninati........
ReplyDeleteIt's only 1-0 and yet Habs fans are OLEing.
ReplyDeleteVersus picks guys who scream hockey games out of existence, and even Doc on occasion is guilty of this by making long shots that miss the net seem like they have a chance.
ReplyDeleteLeighton is going to have to continue to be huge in order for the Flyers to get out of this period.
ReplyDeleteHalak is going to be tough to beat tonight, I can feel it.
just remember: i've been listening to Beninati since i was a junior in high school. He hasn't gotten any better.
ReplyDeleteFlyers really are struggling in the 1st period this series.
ReplyDeleteIntermission can't come soon enough.
And the Flyers give up a completely bizarre goal.
ReplyDeletePyatt makes it 2-0. Crap.
ReplyDeleteWhat was Pronger thinking there?
LOL Flyers
ReplyDeleteBarnyard call in Philly.
ReplyDeleteKT, what do you think of this:
ReplyDelete<a href="http://jamesrussellcraven.blogspot.com/2010/05/19/dear-izzy-youre-vindicated/>The London Olympic Mascots.</a>
So......is this a penalty coming up?
ReplyDeleteJoe B is so good at filling us in before commercial breaks.
Pronger to the box.
ReplyDeleteNo PP for us, but a PP for Montreal.
ReplyDeleteThat's borderline.
5 on 3 coming up for maximum :52.
ReplyDeleteI love how even Reaugh is attributing all these Flyer penalties to the crowd.
ReplyDeleteThere have been a whole lot of wishy-washy calls.
Really? The Flyers probably should've been called for 1-2 more penalties.
ReplyDeleteFor the Habs all I see is that delay of game.
The refs suck so far.
@ SSR: I especially did not like the Pronger call. Did he even touch him?
ReplyDeleteThe IIHF should make a rule that all rosters for the World Championships should be final. No last second call ups because Malkin is available.
ReplyDeleteThat's why Russia's Olympic team just killed Canada today 5-2.
I agree about the IIHF. It's hardly fair.
ReplyDelete“Montreal is not going down without a fight.” – Joe Beninati quoting Hoobastank AGAIN!
ReplyDelete/They're not afraid to let it out!
Random note: Doug Collins will be introduced as the new Sixers coach tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteFlyers aren't doing much better in the 2nd....
ReplyDeletePECOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIME!
ReplyDeleteBrad Watson is reffing this game. That explains the terrible penalties.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's NOT a penalty????
ReplyDeleteI fucking hate Brad Watson.
The Flyers are playing some absolutely terrible hockey today. Refs have nothing to do with it and they have had their chances.
ReplyDeleteI never said the Flyers should be winning or the sole reason the Flyers are down 3-0 is because of the officiating, but Brad Watson is a terrible referee and he is having yet another horrible game; at least his 3rd real bad game of the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteCanadiens letting out the slack in their offense.” – Joe Beninati after our favorite Hoobastank song played agian.
ReplyDeleteThey’re not afraid to let it out!
It's not a win, but thank goodness Gagne broke Halak's shut out and took away a bit of the momentum. I'll take that.
ReplyDeleteClassic Brad Watson. He just let everything go for practically 15 minutes, and now he decides out of nowhere to call a penalty.
ReplyDeleteThe guy is inconsistent, and when he feels like calling lots of penalties, calls penalties that are barely penalties.
He has no biases, he is a whistle-carrying moron on skates.
"Who are we choosing tonight, Mr. Rasoir?" - Joe Beninati
ReplyDeleteRasoir = Razor in French. Razor = Daryl Reaugh's nickname.
How do Caps fans put up with him?
"You always know you are losing a game when your goalie is in the middle of the bench like a grocery stick." - Daryl Reaugh
ReplyDeleteThis is the Flyers first fighting major of the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, we get the label of a dirty team.......
Up 4-1 and on a PP in the last minute and the Habs bring out their top PP line to score a 5th goal on us.
ReplyDeleteNot only is there an unwritten rule that you don't do that, but we are the ones given the dirty label when in the past 2 games of the series, we put out our 3rd and 4th liners on the PP (as a team should) at the end of the game and they put out their top line to try to run up the score and essentially rub it in our faces.
Again, WE GET THE LABEL OF THE DIRTY TEAM, THE HABS ARE PULLING THIS SHIT. Am I the only one that finds a disconnect?
