Game 3: Boston @ Philadelphia 7:00 (*Versus - Joe Beninati and Andy Brickley, SR: Bob Harwood) (TSN - Gord Miller, ItG: Pierre McGuire)
Game 3: Chicago @ Vancouver 9:30 (Versus - John Forslund and Daryl Reaugh, SR: Billy Jaffe) (CBC - Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson, SR: Scott Oake)
"Little big man Danny Briere." - Joe Beninati
ReplyDeleteWell that's a lot of scoring in this one....
ReplyDeleteTech problems caused my feed to switch from Versus to TSN.
ReplyDeleteThe good news: no more Beninati and Brickley.
The bad news: Pierre McGuire.
What. A. Game.
ReplyDeleteLook at the scoreline.

Heh. I guess everyone had a problem with the Versus picture.
ReplyDeleteYay for moving to TSN!
"Briere had to wait for Ville Leino to get back on top." - Gord Miller
ReplyDeleteEww.
Select cable outlets are having tech problems with Versus and are currently getting a TSN feed.
ReplyDeleteCertain cable systems (including the one my stream is coming from) is having problems with Versus and currently getting the TSN feed.
ReplyDeleteThose that did have problems did not see the Bruins goals clearly.
@ SSR: Wow. Just wow.
ReplyDeleteSo apparently it is only ESPN America.
ReplyDeleteOf course, my stream is ESPN America.
Yay for more Pierre!
@Justin: What's your problem with Pierre? He was on the Jim Rome Show today and I thought he killed. Very insightful.
ReplyDeleteThe Versus feed is back on ESPN America.
ReplyDeleteThus, it's back to Beninati.

ReplyDelete@ Keith: When doing games, he is Captain Super Obvious. He also has a never-ending hard-on for people that participated in World Juniors.
ReplyDeleteMike Richards played in World Juniors. Pierre loves him like he is his first born. It is quite disturbing to listen to.
Hmm, I find Pierre very insightful when he's on Rome's show, especially his take on fighting.
ReplyDelete2-1 Bruins after 1.
ReplyDeleteBleh.
"This sport blends so beautifully with music." - Joe Beninati
ReplyDeletePlease retire.
The Bruins are shot blocking machines in this game.
ReplyDelete2-1 after 2.
ReplyDeleteI am not going to like the end of this game, now am I?
This. Sucks.
ReplyDeleteAs disappointing as that Flyers loss was, at least I am not addicted to donuts like the guy currently singing the national anthems in Vancouver is.
ReplyDeleteThat third period officiating sucked. I have astigmatisism, and I knew there were two obvious penalties that should have been called.
ReplyDeleteOn the brighter side, Phils won 4-rock.
An aside: The Suns won 110-102, keeping Gov. Brewer from forcing Phoenix to wear ¿Dónde están sus papeles? on their jerseys for Game 3 in San Antonio.
ReplyDeleteMarian Hossa! 4-2 Hawks
ReplyDelete@ RJBO: That's good news!
ReplyDeleteAnd if you want to see a terrible picture of me in my once lucky shirt....
http://fireandyreidnow.blogspot.com/2010/05/im-all-out-of-ideas.html
That shouldn't be a goal for the Hawks...
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteDamn. They're gonna count that as a goal for Kane. 5-2 Chicago.
ReplyDeleteForsland: "He's got a little Chia Pet action," talking about Patrick Kane going with the playoff mullet instead of the beard.
ReplyDeleteWow, John Forslund. Chia Pets?
ReplyDeleteOy ve.
Forsland: "Burrows with a few rabbit punches to Bolland."
ReplyDeleteReaugh: "What kind of rabbits do you hang out with?"
"...That's what we call 'giving them the business.'"
Hawks win 5-2. Oof.
ReplyDeleteJFein, let me know if you need me to chart the inevitable Mickey Redmond whine festival during the impending elimination of the Wings tomorrow.
ReplyDelete/not enough characters in cyberspace to cover that
@ RJBO: The way that series has been going, may I answer with a resounding........NO! ;-)
