It's hard to believe that college basketball is back already, but indeed it is back. Normally, I don't really get into college basketball until much later into the season, but this year I am psyched right at the beginning. I think that my Wildcats have a great chance of going all the way this year and if you remember anything from last season, I am a huge Villanova fan, even if they are the PA version of the Duke-UNC schools that everyone hates. Regardless, here is your Villanova schedule for the month of November. Go Wildcats!!! (all times eastern)
November 13: vs. Fairleigh Dickinson W 61-84
November 16: vs. Pennsylvania W 65-103
November 19: O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Classic vs. George Mason W 69-68
November 20: O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Classic vs. Dayton W 71-65
November 22: O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Classic vs. Mississippi W 79-67
November 28: vs. La Salle W 63-81
There is not a whole lot there to whet your appetite for what's to come when we get into the Big East schedule, but Villanova I would be interested to see what happens if Nova can run into one a Kansas State or a Dayton, who are also in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Classic. Other than that, the only other highlights are the 2 Big Five games against Villanova and La Salle. Big Five games are always extremely entertaining to watch. It does not get better than two Philadelphia teams going at it. The Sixers may suck and we could careless about them and the NBA in Philly, but when it comes to college basketball, you'll be hardpressed to find a city more passionate about the game.
