  1. First of all, a Pats fan complaining about officiating, that's a new one. JP should take his loss like a man. Belicheck and the Pats lost that game.

What helped the Colts on 4th down was the play was near their sideline and that may have influenced the ref to mark it short or screw him up where he couldn't remember the spot Faulk caught it.

And the ball was facing the opposite way, the ref on the near side saw Faulk's body.

Inexcusable decision-making on the TOS and 4th down!

  2. @ Al: And the fact that the Pats did not have a timeout to challenge that.

I still have not pictured in my mind a scenario where going for it there is a good move. Even if you get it, the Colts still have a timeout and the 2-minute warning so they could not just take knees. Indy could have forced a 3-and out, a punt with 30 seconds left and who knows what Manning could do. With Manning at QB, that aforementioned drive is a real possibility and not as far-fetched as it would be with most other teams.

    Truly mind-boggling on all fronts.

  3. That 1st timeout before the drive started killed the Pats. They would've had another one in the bag to challenge the spot if they didn't waste if after the touchback. And the 4th down call was bad, play the percentages. Belicheck trusted his offense more.

JP of the 506 has calmed down, saying he was just frustrated about what happened.

I wonder what they'll be talking about on ESPN? I think that game may get a little attention...

  4. Just a bit.....yeah....although I don't think I'll be complaining. Watching that and reading Pats fans of all people complaing about the refs is more than worth seeing Andy Reid drop a turd today.
