SS Jimmy Rollins and CF Shane Victorino!!!
Congrats to both on the well-deserved honor! Unlike a certain Golden Glove winning AL shortstop, Jimmy Rollins can actually play defense and does it quite well, mind you. This is his 3rd straight Gold Glove and it's Victorino's 2nd consecutive Gold Glove. If it was not for the fact that he had a completely miserable defensive post-season, I would be arguing that Utley deserved it over Orlando Hudson, but alas, he crapped the bed way too much that post-season at 2nd for me to even think about making that argument.
OK, since you went here and I don't have a blog(yet)let me give a big woot to Adam Jones, the first Oriole to win a Gold Glove since Mike Mussina! Here's my favorite Jones catch of the past year, complete with Gary Thorne acting like a fool:
