  2. The more the better!

I'm a nervous wreck right now and this game has not even started yet!

  3. Both goalies are making huge saves early.

  4. CROSBY SANDWICH!!!!! YES! YES! HAHA!!

  5. Crosby was sandwich'd!!!!!!!

  6. Flyers on the power play now. They were 0 for 8 in Game 4. They need to do better tonight if they want to extend the series.

  7. Sidney Crosby ate a fat dick.

  8. Oof. Midway through the first and the Red Wings are already up 3-1.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Pens are outshooting the Flyers 14-5. Marty Biron is single-handedly keeping the Flyers in this game thus far.

  10. No score after 1 from Mellon Arena.

  11. "He whips one to Gagne who tries to find Richards but he is pissing him." - Jim Jackson

Quite the unfortunate misspeak for Jim Jackson...

  12. DRIVE BY ASHAM.....SCORE!!!!!! OH! WHAT A ROCKET THAT WAS!!!!!! 1-0 FLYERS!!!!!!

You don't see Fleury beat up high like that very often. Fleury totally did not see that hard of a shot coming from Asham.

  13. Malkin responds with a goal and I think Marty believes that it was kicked in.

Oh! Marty's right! He scored that soccer style! THAT SHOULD NOT COUNT!!!! And it is being reviewed.

  14. NO GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Distinct kicking motion with no stick on the puck. And Pens fans can't see the truth if it bit them right on their fat ass.

  15. Gotta love the awkwardness that comes when announcers do not know they are back on the air. We had 5 seconds of awkward silence or so, but sadly, nothing random and off-handed.

  16. Red Wings are now leading the Blue Jackets 5-3.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It was 1-0 after 2 and now we're about to start the 3rd from the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Flyers are going on the power play!

    ReplyDelete
  19. SCORE!!!!!!! CLAUDE GIROUX HAMMERS HOME A REBOUND AND THE FLYERS LEAD IT 2-0 IN A MUST-WIN GAME 5!!!!!!!!!!!!

    YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Holy cow! Columbus has tied it at 5!

Just to put that into perspective. Detroit was up 3-1, the Blue Jackets tied it at 3, then Detroit scored 2 in a row to make it 5-3 and then the 2 that the Blue Jackets ahave just scored.

And New Jersey leads Carolina 1-0 after 2.

  21. Mike Richards with a drive.....save Fleury! REBOUND BY KNUBLE HE SCORES!!!!!!!!! MIKE KNUBLE!!!!! FLYERS LEAD IT 3-0!!!!!!!!!

And barring an epic meltdown in the next 6:15, we'll have a game 6 in the Wachovia Center on Saturday afternoon, and man oh man, my already compact schedule just got a bit more compact.

  22. JFein, I am sending you an e-mail with a question.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I sent you a reply. I hope it helps!

  24. Penguins are trying to force the Flyers into having an all out brawl, but the Flyers are having none of it with 30.4 seconds to go up by 3.

    ReplyDelete
  25. IT'S OFFICIAL! WE HAVE A GAME 6!!!!!!!!

FLYERS WIN 3-0 AND BIRON HAS A PLAYOFF SHUT OUT OF THE PENGUINS!

Oh.....the conflicts in my schedule. I will in all likelihood miss the start of that game on Saturday. Damn NBC and their obsession to always broadcast the Penguins!

  26. Detroit is going to the conference semifinals (or as Mike Patrick would say, sema-finals) by winning it 6-5 in Game 4.

Meanwhile, Jersey is up 1-0 with 11:00 to go in the 3rd.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Thank You, JFein

BTW, Chicago is falling apart. They are down by 25

    ReplyDelete
  28. No problem.

I saw the score real quick on NBA.com. This game......not quite as epic as the previous 2.

    ReplyDelete
  29. New Jersey hangs on and wins 1-0.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Big thanks, JFein. I don't know why I couldn't figure that out.

/wait for my Foul Ball post tomorrow.

  31. Randy Hahn is attempting to grow a beard. It's still filling in, but once it does it's going to look awsome.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've got a Hahn/Remenda stream!

    ReplyDelete
  33. "They are meeting in the Ivy League society" - Mark Lee about the brush up between Murray (Cornell) & Parros (Princeton)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Perros doesn't look nothing like an Ivy League grad. He looks like he just walked off an porn shoot in Sherman Oaks.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Come on Pavelski! Why are you tripping someone.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well there's a lovely image....

    ReplyDelete
  37. Well at least the Sharks have stopped Anaheim's PP so far....

    ReplyDelete
  38. Power play coming up for the Sharks.

    ReplyDelete
  39. If the Sharks win this game, that would make this a very interesting series.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 0-0 after 1

    Good night to everyone!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. No score after 1 from the Honda Duck Pond.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Score Anaheim! They lead 3-0 and the Sharks can pretty much mail this series in. Down 3-1 to a team that they have not watched up well against is definitley not the way to be.

  43. Thee was a blackout of the Pittsburgh white out last night as lightning struck FSN Pittsburgh's satellite facility in Atlanta.
