  16. Wow, a Columbus Blue Jacket was carrying a hockey stick in each hand for well over 5 seconds and the Red Wings announcers were livid over it.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "Last night the Red Wings led 1-0 and the Blue Jackets came back and tied it at 1." - Mickey Redmond forgetting that Game 1 was 2 nights ago, not last night.

  19. ZETTERBERG TOP SHELFS IT AND IT'S 3-0 WINGS!

8:00 and Habs-Bruins can't come soon enough. Actually scratch that, my options of PbP announcers to watch are Jack Edward on NESN, Joe Beninati on Versus, and Bob Cole on CBC. I know a good deal of French, so maybe I'll find an RDS stream....

  20. It's Beninati for me! And an only iffy quality stream.

  29. One of the TSN studio analysts just said that Darren Pang was in New York.

Panger is (or as of earlier this afternoon) in Washington....

  30. And it's a final in Detroit. 4-0 Red Wings.

  31. I have 2 streams going right now, one of Habs-Bruins and another of Flames and Blackhawks and while I am listening to the national anthems in Chicago, I flip back to the Habs-Bruins game to find out that the Habs have pulled within 1!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm not sure Cole knew there was a goal scored.

He sounded so surprised just now and had no goal call.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It was not really that much of a chaotic play. Just a solid drive that went in.

Old King Cole might need to have his vision checked...

    ReplyDelete
  34. 4-1 Boston. Good thing that I'm watching the Flames-Blackhawks game.

    ReplyDelete
  35. JEROME IGINLA SCORES ON THE POWER PLAY! 1-0 CALGARY!

That was about as juicy a rebound as you can ever find in the NHL.

    ReplyDelete
  39. OH! AUCOIN GETS A REBOUND AND SENDS IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE NET BUT A BLACKHAWK STICK KNOCKED IT IN FOR THE FLAMES! 2-0 CALGARY!

Meanwhile, the Bruins have advanced there lead to 5-1 over the Montreal. And Jack Edwards may end up back in the hospital for pulling a Brennaman...

    ReplyDelete
  40. SCORE! CHICAGO! TOEWS!! And the Blackhawks have pulled within 1.

    ReplyDelete

  43. Oof. I was on the phone and I missed a Chicago goal at the end of the 2nd. 3-2 Blackhawks after they trailed 2-0 to start the game.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Meanwhile, it's a final in Boston. 5-1 the Bruins beat the Canadiens and Jack Edwards is being rushed to the hospital. It is pretty close to being 4 hours...
