  1. The Phils are currently in New York playing the Yankees and Jimmy Rollins took the first pitch of the game not so deep to right for a homerun.

It's Game 3 time from the United Center!

  3. CHICAGO SCORES!!!! 1-0 HAWKS!

Meanwhile, Werth just jacked one to the 2nd deck of Yankee Stadium. 5-0 Phils in the top of the 5th.

  5. Ho. Ly. Shit.

I do not believe what I just saw. Vido coming in a few

Havlat got knocked unconscious and no one was aware of it and a fight broke out seconds later over his body and his arms and all were being kicked around as he lay motionless. Just unbelieveable.

It looks like he will be all right, though as he was able to walk off.

  6. This New Yankee Stadium is an embarrassment to baseball. I've heard of homerun parks, but this is pretty much ridiculous.

Meanwhile 49er16's favorite Phillies pitcher, Brett "Boom Outta Here" Myers is still pitching in the 8th; the first time this year he has done such and only the 2nd Phillie starter this year to do it (Blanton was the other).

Although I'm pretty sure those back to back solo shots he just gave up will be the end of things.....or not. Myers is still in.

  9. Meanwhile, the Phils won 7-3 as Myers went 8, giving up 3 solo shots and the Phils were rather homerun happy, blasting balls out of the Bronx like there was no tomorrow.
