  13. i left hockey after the lockout and i only started watching again after channel surfing last new years and stumbling on the PIT-BUF winter classic and just marveling at Emrick's just absolute joy of being there, so different than a Joe Buck...and the Caps run at the end of last season helped

    Okaaaayyy.....

    And Doc Emrick is the man. He's the only good national TV American hockey announcer and he's one of the best there is in all sports. Period.

  21. and i was going to write up a sim of the series, but i got depressed becuase the Caps led at the 2nd int in each game, and then got outscored 12-1 combined in the 3rd in a sweep
